Kynslie Thorndike Manochi received a Bachelor’s in Music Education from Kent State University, and after teaching elementary music for five years, decided she wanted to be of service to the Christian Science community. With several family members both on her and her husband’s side who are Christian Science nurses, she happily received training through Upward Wing in partnership with the Le Verger training program and is now a second-generation Journal-listed Christian Science nurse.

Kynslie is currently working for Upward Wing Christian Science nursing in the Akron/Cleveland, Ohio area. In addition to working for Upward Wing, the past several years she has worked at two facilities, taken private duty cases, gone on a wonderful baby case, had a short internship at Cox Cottage at the Principia College campus and served at three different Christian Science summer camps. She is a mentor with the Le Verger training program and has mentored several students both at camps and within her local field in the past year. Kynslie looks forward to seeing where her ministry will lead her next.
