Lynn Babcock grew up in the Washington, DC area, where she acquired a Master’s degree in Social Work Administration. After 8 years of working as a counselor, Lynn cherished a desire to be of service in the Christian Science community.
Encouraged by a Christian Science nurse to try an Introduction to Christian Science nursing course, Lynn was led to do so. By the end of this course, she knew that this was absolutely answered prayer. She completed her classroom training at Arden Wood, in San Francisco, CA, returning to Lynn House in Alexandria, VA afterward to complete her on-the-job training.
Since then, Lynn has worked for a both Lynn House and Peace Haven, in St. Louis, MO as a visiting Christian Science nurse, and as a facility Christian Science nurse and supervisor. Lynn has periodically been a Private duty Christian Science nurse, and a camp Christian Science nurse, and in 2014 began Christian Science nursing for The Principia, a school in St Louis, MO. Currently, Lynn is the Lead Christian Science nurse at Principia College in Elsah, IL.
Lynn and her husband, Steve, have two sons in college. They love to visit family and friends, or go exploring in their RV whenever the opportunities arise.
