An article on the qualities of Christian Science nursing spoke to Tammy’s heart and drew her to apply at Chestnut Hill Benevolent Association where she stayed for twenty years; through her training, then as a supervisor at the CSVN service in Boston, later working part-time when her daughter was young.  The family then moved to Elsah, IL, and Tammy worked on the Principia College campus as a Christian Science nurse.  She currently does occasional local private duty cases.

Tammy also has a B.S. in Engineering from Michigan State University (lived at Asher House) and worked as a sales engineer.  She loves to work with her church family on committees/events, garden, walk, and shares her daughter’s love for a kitten and a Norwegian Elkhound puppy.
